Whimsy

I have been searching for something whimsical to use in a floral arrangement for the vase on my dresser, I am leaning towards pussy willows. So I have been searching online for some ideas.. and let me tell you, every singe image I find was styled by Martha Stewart. It is like that woman invented them or something!marthamoments

cheeeaaa

I am incredibly slow on the follow through.... Here it is, the frame wall. I got the large gold frame from a friend, dismantled it, sanded it and gave it a golden glow. The rest of the frames came from thrift stores. some were painted black or gold, others were left just as they were. The cream coloured circle mirror was the only tricky part of the whole project. It weights Woooo I think it looks great. Better pictures to follow when I finally get my act together.

I am in the process of decorating my new condo. I have a collection of wooden frames and have been looking online for inspiration of what to do with them, here is what I've found.

(For obvious reasons this photo is my favorite!)

My Garden

Not many people know I can garden, and I'm honestly not that great at it. But I take my time, and work really hard... besides they're flowers, they look good no matter what!

Food for Felt

The felt treats above are created by British designer Suzanne Smith as wedding favors. A little daunting to have to make 200, but I sure would like to be the recipient of one.

Frosted doughnuts by Crissy Brown. These are not actually felted but knitted. Still, they're just as cute!

My mom and I took a felting class a few years ago, at the time it seemed a bit lame, but looking back I really think its made me cooler!
